About the Dirty Southern Burners

The infamous Dirty Southern Burners – loud, proud, and not afraid to get all kinds of nasty. Like those black sheep cousins who never get invited to family gatherings, we’re not something you’d take home to momma.

Our origins can be traced back to Transformus, the Southeast Regional Burn. A rag-tag group of free loving Burners and rebel artists crawled out of the woods towards the fire and realized there were others with similar interests, passions and a shared disregard for all things mundane. After countless occasions drinking together, partying late into the night, and waking up next to each other, we’ve grown into a real family – a supportive, loving unit that remains there for each other when life gets rough.

Dirty Southern Burners transcend geographical boundaries. Our doors are open to all, regardless of where you live in relation to the Mason-Dixon Line. If you can hang with the big dogs, you’re welcome to run with this pack. Most of us live in the Carolinas, Georgia, and Tennessee, but we have core members in Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, DC, Virginia, California, and New York – and there’s always room for more!

The Dirty Southern Burners are a constantly growing family that’s not afraid to offend when necessary, and sometimes when its not! Nor are we afraid to vomit and hump on you while we do it. We like it nasty! If you can chug whiskey all day with the best of ‘em, you’re welcome to be a part of this family. If you’ve woken up unsure of where you’re at, you’d fit right into this group. If you can yell louder than a megaphone and hump on cars without care, you belong with us. Even those who are not up to par on the aforementioned shamefulness have a place reserved at our table.

Our esteemed ranks can be found proudly participating in Burner related events all over the country from AfterBurn in Florida to Playa del Fuego in Delaware, Burning Man in Nevada, Element in South Carolina, Flipside in Texas, and of course, Transformus in North Carolina. We also host Meet n Greet's in Atlanta and Columbia among other places.
