Alchemy Town Hall Meeting

Alchemy will be having its first annual Town Hall Meeting on Sunday,
December 9, 2007 at 3pm. The kind folks at the Spring 4th Center have
graciously allowed us to host the meeting there. The address is 728
Spring Street (the red door), Atlanta Georgia 30308.

The purpose of the town hall meeting will be to:

1. Present the 2007 event report to the community including financial
details and reports by various team leads
2. Open facilitated discussions of what did and did not succeed at
this year's event
3. Election of the Board of Directors for 2008

Alchemy will be electing its 2008 Board of Directors at the meeting.
If you wish to run for the board, or wish to vote for whomever serves
in this capacity, then you must attend this meeting. There will be no
proxy voting, absentee ballots, or absentee candidates.

Alchemy's new Board of Directors structure will include five voting
members elected from the community at large, and one non-voting
advisory member appointed by the Burning Man organization.

Board members serve in a voluntary capacity and will meet at least
monthly throughout the year and are responsible for:
1. approval of Alchemy expenditures, event dates, and locations
2. allocation of funds for art grants and approval of art applications
3. appointment of team leads
4. reporting, sales and income taxes, and general business requirements
