First off, you'll need to contact me at isarma [at] gmail [dot] com I've mostly stopped reading because the sheer volume is so much and I'm a bit sad to read it all, as I'm having a rougher than expected pregnancy and simply can't handle camping and partying right now. I've already sold my ticket, though.

Sadly, we need to sell our tickets. I'd prefer to sell them to someone we know who'll be involved and volunteer. I've asked around all my local crowd, and they all have their tix, so I'm throwing it out here. So, please respond if you need 'em, tell me who you are and what you'll be doing to help once you get there.

Richard was going to be participating in a workshop that isn't going to happen. He's intown and wants to teach and is getting a class together himself. It's looking like Saturday afternoon in the great Atl area, probably Marietta. If you're intown this weekend and interested... (link)

The Atlanta Meet & Greet is at Issa's house Friday night, but it just occurred to me (reading the SC threads) that we need a fire pit of something. She has a huge yard for burning, but it's all grass, with no established fire area. I got in touch with her and she said some kind of contained fire area would be awesome. Anyone have fire barrels they can bring?

Superhooper is doing a survey (link here), to plan regular weekly hooping classes. I decided to post the link around a bit. I figure the more interest they get, the more likely I am to get classes. ;) I'm posting here because I loaned out my hoops quite a bit last weekend and I figured here was the easiest way those people might see it. Go vote which days/times you'd like!

Why are they often spelled weirdly? I was raised by two teachers, so maybe that explains my fixation with spelling:) I get nicknames. I tend to nickname people, though they don't *stick* on me for some reason...but I don't get the often wacky spelling. Is it a unique thing? It's funny how things that start out unique end up being a trend! Anyway, I do alot of work with mamas and babies and it seems misspelling (or uniquely spelling) names is really popular and I wondered what the burner motivation was.

I'm just putting shit in my calender for the year...weekends to save. Yes, I'm very organized. :P I can't find a date online for Element or Thesmorphia 2007. I figured with the organizers being on here, it was a good place to ask. Also, really the only SE date I'm finding is Transformus. Are there dates already on other afterburns or decomps? I'm definitely interested in anything in this area. Large travel is still slightly possible, but don't know yet.

Atlanta people who own glow anythings - Declan's glow staff is dying. I know he'll want new glowy things for it by the Meet & Greet Saturday. Yes, I know EBAYs cheapest, but we didn't pre-plan fast enough.

I was meeting up with a friends to hoop tomorrow, but the plans fell through. Now I'm jonesing. Anyone going out to the drum circle?

I'm new to burning, but not new to most of what burning is and means. I've been a pagan, poly, bi, pantheist, hedonist (list of freaky things goes on) for years. There's a good deal of overlap in alot of things things. So, alot of this stuff isn't new to me, at all...but some is.
