i think we have alot of adverse weather at the work play weekends, but it is near the only rain forest in north america... anyhow, we've got a big storm coming, everybody needs to plan accodingly...

I'll be heading up DPW at work play weekend so i need to get some volunteers together for different projects. remember the more people working, the more we ALL get to play. at the moment looks like there's a little wood to cut, some paths to work on, and a stage to fix. sooo... we'll need some tools, i have some, but more is always better when it comes to tools. we need to get several teams together on site to do each of the tasks, that way everyone gets to have more fun. if you have cordless tools bring them, specifically saws. i have 2 but the batteries are not great. and speaking of batteries make sure yours are charged!!! we could use a few drills, but those are pretty common so i'm sure we'll have enough of them. bring some big wood screws if you have em. also we could use a couple chainsaws, brush cutter/pruner, machete's, heavy rakes and shovels. post what you have to bring on here so we can all see what is coming and we don't end up with 100 cordless drills and no chainsaws. here is my list of stuff i'll have.

hey everybody...  I really, really, really want to make one of those cool propane cannons everyone has to play with.  I'm pretty savvy tech wise, but i'd like to know some specifics as to what types of valves i would need to stop the flame from going to my bottle.  i think that's probably what you don't want to happen, right?  ;-)  anyhow, any information would be appreciated by me, and by anyone who gets to play with it after i get it built.  thanks,

I had sooooo much fun building the effigy, thanks to all the volunteers who helped out, we could not have done it without yall!!! Special thanks to AJ, Unga Bunga, and Ram Rod. Yall were the core of our team and you put your blood sweat and tears into it.

So i thought about setting up a barter shower, i have a propane and battery powered hot shower & thought about possibly finding a spot to put up some kind of a stall with a "donation" jug for whatever may fall in there.

Sounds like yall could use some power tools, big trucks and a winch, no not a wench ;-) although they're pretty handy too!!!  Let me know if i need to bring lots of things like that.
