Call to council for Transformus Effigy

Last year was an amazing experience bring together all the energies of the community to make an amazing effigy rise up in the center of the burn to become a focal point for all the communities hopes and dreams.  With a 200 ft column of fire we let her go never to see her again.  But this year a new form will rise in her place, the sweat and blood, and tears will flow and we will burn again.  As with many great undertakings all come to the burn never knowing what we will do, in what ways we will give and how much of ourselves will be spent on the task.  Some came expecting to give her their heart but in the process gave much more.  Some came with a hammer and a notion that this might be fun and found eyes and hands looking for direction.  Some gave their complete attention until there was nothing but
her image burned on the lids of there resting eyes.   A dream is a needy
thing.  But a dream spun within the mind of a burner is a power thing because it is closer than most dreams ever get to becoming real.  With the will and love of the community the dream rises from the bare earth each giving of their own art until the vision is born and spirit becomes real.

I am sending out the call to council for this year's effigy team.  This is a call to bring together all who have a vision, those who have skills, those who have resources, and most importantly those who have experience with the amazing process of building a dream.  As you may know the effigy is part of the art grant process which was completed in December.  At present no plans for this years effigy have been submitted to the Transformus council.  No designs, no team, no process.  The dream is formless and raw.

I have proposed that a council come together online to discuss and share our experiences and our dreams.  What ideas do we have, what skills, what resources, what experiences.  Even if your vision is leading you to other parts of Mysteria  this years builders need your vision and your experience.  So please plan to be present for the council.

Please distribute, post, email this call to burners you know who would be interested in sharing their art in the building of an effigy.  I am working on setting up a party chat using Google Talk for the council.
Please email me your contact info and and I will send out another announcement once the chat room is set up.  My first preference for a council time would be 8PM Sunday January 27th.  This will give a few days for this email to be distributed and some time to  prepare a plan before Feb 5th as requested by the BOD.
