Ask the 40,000 participants of Burning Man 2006 what it means to them and you'll likely to get 50,000 different answers. It's a celebration of art. A gift economy. A big party. Or, as one participant said, "It doesn't show people how to live outside the box, it just shows that there is a box."
The films and shorts included in this festival pan seven years of the event, starting in 1997 through 2003.
Free shuttle bus to and from the Courthouse Metro Station!
Bring a can of food to be donated to Capital Area Food Bank and receive a raffle ticket for fabulous prizes!
Dress in your most Playa Fabulous outfit and enter the costume contest!
During the intermissions, enjoy performances and art exhibits by local Burning Man artists. Have your picture taken in the Phlaming Photo Booth! Music provided by DJ Dustin.

I am going to visit friends and hopefully this is something that will seem intriguing to them and I can get us all out and about!!   I hope to see you there if we swing that way!!
