eleMent

eleMent is a community art event to be held on 23 beautiful acres in the hinterlands of Monetta, SC. Advance invitations are required, get them early. Attendance is limited.

Inspired by the national Burn community and arts festivals such as Burning Man in Nevada and Transformus in North Carolina, eleMent is a weekend of arts, music and radical free expression, and an experiment in temporary community.

There are no spectators at eleMent ... you are the event. eleMent is non-commercial, so there are no corporate interests, no vending and no cash transactions for the duration of the event. Please come prepared with everything you'll need to be comfortable for three days in a wilderness setting, as well as whatever you have to share by way of entertainment, gifts, or happenings for the community. Be yourself,
it's all about the beauty of individual free expression!

eleMent invitations are limited to those twenty-one and older. All adults attending must understand and accept that they are entirely responsible and liable for the security of themselves and their possessions. We do not warrant this event to be safe in any fashion. If you need to be safe, please stay home.

Pets are welcome if they are properly vaccinated and are in the care of their people at all times. Please don't plan to allow your pet to roam.

Gates will open at 2 p.m. on Friday the 20th and will close for admissions at 8 p.m. on Saturday the 21st. Final exit will be by 7 p.m. on Sunday the 22nd. Please come early and stay as long as you can!

Invitations are sent in response to a donation through Paypal. On receiving a confirmation of your donation, we will email you with directions and other information about eleMent. If we have not contacted you within 24 hours of your donation, please contact scbticketwhore [at] yahoo [dot] com and we'll get it figured out. ;)
