The day will begin at 3pm with working on the infamous art car, as well as other playa (or whatever!) crafts, and hanging out in the sun.

At around 6 or so, we'll fire up the grill and cook out.  We'll provide hamburgers, hot dogs and some kind of vegetarian option (likely veggie brats or veggie burgers).  I'd really appreciate it if people could bring a little something to share!  BYOB!!!

The evening will include setting various things ablaze, most likely including another mop and anything else I can get my hands on that might be an incredibly bad idea to burn.  There may very well be some spinning of fireworks on the ends of chains.  There will be music, and whatever kind of debauchery we feel like indulging in at the moment.  

It's an all day thing, so come for part or all, as you choose.   
EDIT:  The event is kid friendly, although please note that our house is most definitely NOT child-proof yet, and we have admittedly little to do that would be entertaining to a kid.  We also make no promises about how the party will go as the night wears on, so please keep that in mind.

Sarah's birthday is April 8th. Keith's birthday is April 20th. Clove's half-birthday (or unbirthday) falls in April and she's got a kick-ass idea to celebrate it. So, we're all throwing together our first joint shindig, at both halves of the duplex! Come party with us!

765 & 767 will be hosting the party, but parking is limited. When you turn off Whitlock, you'll see a shopping center with a liquor store and not much else. It should be pretty empty at night. Please park there. The house is just a couple of minutes away by foot. Wilson Circle is the first right off Manning. Feel free to call for more details.

Bring your firetoys and your blinkie things. We have a big, fenced yard that needs to be lit. Bring your drums, because we're going to have a fire! In fact, bring all your instruments. We love music! Please do bring some food, drinks or both and check it off on the list. This party is adults only. Let us know if you need crash space. It's not big, but we can find some place to put you!

Clovie's contribution is a Human Chess board set up in the yard between the two driveways ala Alice style. You need bring nothing with you in the way of costuming or even a knowledge of the game. Everyone is a participant in the game, with one "player" on each side dictating each move. Along the journey, there will be play obstacles. A tea party, the Mad Hatter and The Cardguards surely will interrupt the flow of the game and bring a new twist to it. This is definitely not your average chess game!

Keith's place will host video games (he's very proud of his new PS3) and general fun. Hell, it's worth going to just see his art!
