Playa craft day, Episode 1

First in a series, playa-craft day!
On Saturday, February 3rd we'll be hosting the first in a series of playa-craft days at our house in Kirkwood. This is a great opportunity to commune with local burners and create appropriate crafts. We have two sewing machines on the premises and lots of craft supplies, though I suggest you bring your own, too. At this first playa craft day, I personally am going to be making fuzzy boot covers and perhaps another fire staff or two.
If you're not the crafty kind, you could help remove the external pieces from the vehicle that's becoming an art car this year, or just hang out and watch Burning man related movies. I'm sure fire will be spun when it gets dark.
Bring craft supplies, thread, fabric and fur, or whatever. If there's something you want to eat or drink, bring it too and perhaps a little to share.
