It looks like I'm not going to be making the drive to ATL this evening.

I would have been jetting between Frolicon and the Birth-un-Birth day party, but this afternoon I found my self way wiped out and not willing to risk driving up through and around ATL with this low level of energy.

I feel bad that I am not going to come up for your party. Soon I hope this strange lack of energy and bizarro blahness resolves.

I suspect it has to do with the sudden cold weather, sending my fully wound spring spring into a wintery relapse. Just guess I'm a bit more sensitive to the climate than I remember. It feels like trying to get to a show you really want to see and every traffic light is against you and all streets are jammed with other people who have overheating or breaking down cars all the while the time just ticks away until you miss the opening and feel like you have just wasted your whole day, week, life waiting for crap to happen. Just a bunch of barriers out there today. Damn I feel whiney!

I'll make a cup of tea, get a good (much needed) night of sleep and things will be worlds better when I wake up! Funny how that always works for me?

I slept from 9:30pm til 8:00AM and woke feeling so much better. I normally sleep about 4 or at most 5 hours.

After breakfast and a hot shower, I'm all zippity-doo-dah. I hope the duplex partyplex birth-unbirth party was a blast and all the chess pieces winners. I'm going to visit mom and dad for my regular sunday visit and borrow dad's drill press to finish prepping the poles for my camp MaconGa minidome.

I am sorry you didn't feel up for coming out!!  I need to remember to figure out a way to get you in touch with friends of ours, Kitty and Jeff. You have met them at Issa's M&G and at Tunna's old house for M&G's.  They are in Macon (Monticello) too....and maybe y'all could work out a carpool for stuff like this!!  We had great fun.  We tried out the beta version of the chess game, and it was marvelous fun!  Bigger squares are needed....and I need to actually make the costumes instead of using toy breast plates and floor mops for the knights and other silly things for the other pieces. But it was a crazy good time.   *hugs* Hope to see you soon!

Parking is very, very, VERY important.  We have a teeny-ass street.  Please do not park on it!  There's a big strip mall right in front of our street (with an American Bodyworks Gym and a Liquor Store) - park there.  The walk won't even take 2 minutes. Sarah
