Id say if a DSB isnt formal this year at alchemy we should definently make it that way. I have been throwing some really cool ideas around with a buddy who just came home from afghan. so this will be his 2nd burn and we are wanting to do a little something special for everyone. Planning now would certainly help out so maybe lets start planning if possible!

I am looking for a good layout of Alchemy if anyone can help me out. Pictures, MSpaint drawings, etc. Whatever you can do to help me plan. Please include all wooded land as well as open area.

I am thinking of making some really cool tarp designs but im not really sure what my best option to start with is. I know a lot of the land is open but are there any paths through woods or anything like that? any and all help would be great and I would love to get the DSB input in this since id like to camp with you all!

No Avatar,
Photo pool on Flickr, might help you figure out terrain.
There are one lane dirt roads in some wooded areas.

I hope to have DisGraceland at Alchemy. All you DSB's please come by
and participate. My photos from Transformus.

Wow great pics gizmo I think the idea I wanted to originally go with wont work that well in the open area like that. I noticed there were children in some pictures, are they allowed the entire event or only to a certain point?

Can you personally email me at cr3ative@aim.com and maybe send some details and sketches you have for your theme this year. I could possibly help you out in some way to make my impact this year.

Children are allowed at Alchemy the whole time. There was a kids camp
where many of them stayed most of the time. In theory, adults are not required to tone things down because children are present. Parents are responsible for keeping their kids away from stuff they don't want them to see.

right on, I am a parent myself. Just struck me as a little big for kids to be involved with it but I can dig it.

I am not a big fan of kids being at an event like this, but not my call.

Yeah I guess at this level I wouldn't really want kids to be around. Seems like it could be traumatic for the child seeing the wrong thing, aside from different cultures and such. Smaller burns like the murphy nc, dsb reunion it seemed really cool and open towards family but something of this size I just cant imagine some parents keeping the proper attention on their children. Are there any issues that you know of with intoxication to very minor children? Seems cruel I know but people can be a bit odd at times...
