MnG

Hey yall, its been a while since we had a MnG. Thanksgiving was the last time. We need to get these rolling again. We are in the process of moving so I cant offer up this place, but is anyone interested in hosting a MnG in the near future? Thank you to everyone who came out to the Orphan Thanksgiving MnG!!! It was a blast. We had more people in the house than we ever have. We had 3 or 4 states represented. I think we had around 30 throughout the night. The food was awesome (thanks to all who contributed) and so were the people. A couple of new people which was great. I wasnt feeling very good which sucked but I had a great night no matter. I am feeling better so hopefully SantaCon Ill be able to catch up on the good mood! I cant wait to see yall you freaks again! ROCK ON!

It's that time again. It's been too long since we have had a MnG here in Atl. We had Abby and Grundle offer up space at Abby's house. We will have the Oct Atl MnG at their house on Oct 20th. We will be able to fire perform, have a big fire Sat night and camp out on site. Also if you have musical talent, bring it and whatever you're good at. Noise is needed!! I know for sure we will have some instraments there, so bring what you got. If you want to drink and stay, all you have to do is bring your tent. We will be camping out that night, not that you have to, but considering it's in Covington, most of us Atl folks will want to stay. I will be bringing an extra tent and I know atleast one other person will have an extra too if needed. We will be doing a potluck dinner. We are thinking anything food related.... just bring it. Finger foods work good. Also, we would like to do the same for breakfast, so if we can get some to help out w/ dinner and others to help w/ breakfast, that would be awesome. Also, Miss Clove's Bday is this day and will be joining us, so if nothing else come out for her bday! Since its only a week away from haloween, your costumes are welcome. Ok, its been too damn long. We need to get these MnG's back going again. If you have been to one before, you know what im talking about. If you havnt, then you need to come out and check it out!!! We have a number of people from the Atl coming back from BM on top of a number of people who didnt get to go that need some recharges from their burner family!! So who wants to host the next one?? Thats what Chw needs to know. If you are interested hit me up off list. Ill handle the rest. If I find a place, Ill post it but new places to host are always welcome! Just wanted to put the word out. Below lists the details of the May Atl MnG @ Mudfire studio's but I wanted to add in a new project I am working on with someone else (Miss Leanna) to help benifit the local community. Our request is to bring either a toothbrush, toothpaste and/or deoderant (men's or women's). I will have a box at Mudfire to collect items that anyone is willing to give to our cause. I plan on delivering any items that we gather to a local Atl homeless shelter and will be glad to post details about which one I find between now and then. If you have suggestions feel free to hit me up and let me know. We have many more things of this sort coming in the future, that are based on helping people in need in the local community. We are greatful for any contributions, if you choose to give. More details to come about our future intentions.

Hey everyone, we are trying to get the March Atl MnG settled so we can let everyone know more than a week in advance.

I need to know if we have anyone interested in hosting the March MnG for us on March 24th??? SC is the weekend of the 31st, the 17th is the Transformus work weekend/ St Patrick’s Day (one of my fav holidays!) and I have heard rumors of a dsb throwing a party on the 10th.... So the 24th is what we have left. We have been trying to get the MnG's to move around each month to make it more diverse, and Sarah brought up a good point that last month was outside the city and to see if we cant do it somewhere in the city this month. That’s not really a big deal, but would be nice. Even if March doesn’t work for you, let me know if you’re interested and we can figure out what month would work out best. I would love to have the MnG's at least rotate from a few places instead of actually being at the same place every time. It will make it easier and less stressful - minus figuring out where each month - for those who do host them.

Thanks to all who came out for the SC M&G this weekend. Food, fun and family, what more could a man want. It was great to spend the time with the old and the new freaks. Some of you I met for the first time and some of you I met for the first time again.

My favorite moments were Sally Spinning Fire in (Yes IN) the John boat piloted by Hoot! AND lighting the Fire Saturday Night! Them Fireworks get the fire Going! Thanks to everyone else that made it a great weekend!I love Burners especially Dirty Southern ones!Chw know who Chw are! 

We had a wonderful time at the SCM&G, so Thank you Guys :) We should have some photos up by mid week. In the mean time enjoy some videos taken at the M&G.

The Atlanta Meet & Greet is at Issa's house Friday night, but it just occurred to me (reading the SC threads) that we need a fire pit of something. She has a huge yard for burning, but it's all grass, with no established fire area. I got in touch with her and she said some kind of contained fire area would be awesome. Anyone have fire barrels they can bring?

Spoke with Chw tonight, since he is sans internet temporarily, and the Meet & Greet is going to be Feb. 16th, 8pm at Issa's house...I am putting up the official announcement.  

I wonder what Chw's gonna Roast? What are You bringing? Ya, You!OK everyone try to list it! Damn, its aint Rocket Science!

Ok, now that we have this site up and its workin, we need to get back to what we do best, getting together and having more good times! I want the MnG's we have been doing to continue happening, so my thoughts were to get everyone to state what days are best for them, and lets start figuring out how to make this continue for as long as possible. Since Oct. we have been doing them at Tunna's. I was wondering if Tunna still wanted to host or see if anyone else out there has a place where they could host it. I found that getting out of public places when we hold them, really makes the MnG that much better! So any thoughts, suggestions about this feel free to post. Im just ready to do it all again!!
